9th Mile, Meghalaya, APRIL 5 : Shri Prakash D.(IPS), IGP of North Eastern Sector, CRPF had today delivered a talk on “Governance & Internal Security†to the students of University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya. Shri Prakash had widely covered the different aspects on India’s national security and its various dimensions. He also highlighted the functions of different security agencies. Shri Prakash emphasized on the role of citizens in safeguarding the internal security, they should keep their eyes and ears open like a responsible citizen, only when the internal security will be strengthened, there will be smooth functioning of the Governance as a whole.
The students of Department of Political Science of the University had interacted during the session making it more interesting and exciting. The students were thrilled to explore this important and sensitive area.
Shri Prakash had expressed his satisfaction on the enthusiasm and curiosity of the young generation who are in turn the future builders of the society. He appreciated the efforts of the founder Chancellor for establishing such an University in this part of the country for educational upliftment of the region.
