According to ABET's definition, "Engineering is a profession in which a knowledge of the mathematical and the natural science gained by study, experienced and practice is applied with judgement to develop ways to utilize, economically, the materials and the forces of nature for the benefit of mankind." So as one of the sciences, Engineering Physics education is clearly included in the realm of knowledge at the disposal of an engineer.
