Housekeeping and Support Staff Felicitated by USTM

Ri-Bhoi, USTM, December 4, 2017: In a recognition to the contribution of the housekeeping and support staff of the institution, the University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM) today showed a noble gesture by honouring them at a felicitation ceremony in the University campus. Each of the housekeeping and operational members were felicitated with a gamocha and a quality blanket by Sri Mahbubul Hoque, Chancellor of USTM.

In a huge gathering of students, teachers and other staff members of the organization, the USTM authorities displayed a gratitude to the housekeeping and support staff by showing respect to them for the work they have been doing for the organization. Addressing the assembled gathering Hoque said, “The housekeeping and the operational staff are integral family members of the institute and we do care and respect them for their service. We want to extend our bonding of brotherhood and respect the dignity of labour.”
