International Youth Day was organised on August 13, 2018 by the Department of English, USTM. Two plays were performed by the students of MA 3rd semester on the theme “save spaces for youthâ€. One group performed two acts concerning the current issues of the society. They gave a moral message to the youths to fight against the injustice and not to compromise or adjust with the situation. The other group also gave equal effort by bringing in the role of social media. There was a brief interactive session between the students and Miss Anita Chetry who recently qualified UGC NET.
