Konya, Turkey, 12 July 2018: With the objective of development of education and research, the Selcuk University, Konya, Turkey signed Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya (USTM), India here today.
The MoU was signed by Rector of Selcuk University Prof Dr. Mustafa Sahin, MD, and Mahbubul Hoque, Chancellor of USTM in presence of Vice Rector Dr Ahmet Kagan Karabulut, Dean and other high officials. From India, Prof Gous Mashkoor Khan, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Prof Suhail Sabir from Aligarh Muslim University and Prof Mohd Akhtar Siddiqui from Jamia Millia Islamia represented USTM for signing of the MoU.
The MoU has lead to collaboration between the two universities in areas of exchange of faculty members for lectures and short term visits, exchange of students for academic study, exchange of student and post doctoral fellows to conduct basic scientific research, participation in conferences and symposia, exchange of academic and research materials, publication, planning for joint explorations in academic matters.
