Inauguration of SEEED, an annual journal of RIST
23rd Jul, 2015 155The 2nd volume of SEEED, an annual journal of Electrical & Electronics Engineering department of Regional Institute of Science & Technology (RIST) under NEHU, Shillong is released in a function attended by all the HODs and faculty members and officials of the institute.
It was released in honour of the final year students of EEE deptt. of B.Tech course. Three eminent Professors of IITG namely, Dr Praveen Tripathy, Dr Sisir Kumar Nayak (Dept. of EEE) and Dr UK Saha (Deptt of ME) have released the journal on Friday,17.07.15 at Techno-City. SEEED (Society of Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department) was formed in 2014 under the guidance of Dr UK Sarma and Dr PC Mahanta, Professors of the department. The various academic and other activities of the department along with technical write-ups contributed by the students and faculties are documented in the journal. The professors of IITG appreciated the efforts of the department in publishing the journal SEEED, thereby encouraging the students of the department to grow the habit of technical writing.
