NEFTi Volleyball Tournament at RIST
26th Feb, 2015 138The Assam Don Bosco University emerged champions in the third NEFTi Volleyball Tournament organized by the North East Forum for Technical Education at Regional Institute of Science and Technology (RIST). In the final match played on today, Assam Don Bosco University defeated NITS Mirza by 3-0.
Six teams- NITS Mirza, RIST, SITM, Assam Down Town University, University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya participated in the friendly competition. Earlier, Monorom Gogoi, Social activist inaugurated the tournament yesterday in presence of all the participating teams. Dr. PC Mahanta, Director RIST and Devajit Bhuyan, General Secretary NEFTi gave away the trophies to the runners-up and winning teams along with individual medals.
